Community Housing Cymru launched the long-awaited 'Housing Horizons' vision for Welsh housing associations on Thursday 16th November 2017 at our Annual Conference.
We began this work a year ago by posing big questions to housing associations right across Wales, and we spoke to over 500 vision makers over the course of the year.
This was our big question: 'Over the next 20 years, what difference will you make?'
In response to this question, another one emerged.
What if good housing was seen as a basic right for all in Wales? What if housing was genuinely seen as the starting point for successful lives and successful places, and public money was spent accordingly and key decisions made around housing to help achieve this?
With this in mind, this is our vision for 2036: A Wales where good housing is a basic right for all.
Take a look at all the materials below to find out more about the specific commitments within this vision, and please get in touch with firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions or if you'd like a hard copy of the vision document.
We'd like to say a huge thank you to our 500 vision makers who have contributed to the Housing Horizons project over the last year. Thank you for getting involved, and we look forward to working with you on achieving this vision.
