This event will take place over two days on Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th November 2024.

Our 2024 Annual Conference will focus on the relationships and shared understanding we need to realise our shared ambition for a Wales where good housing is a basic right for all.

Through constructive relationships and mutual understanding, we can create the conditions for Housing Associations to do even more to set their tenants and communities up for success.

This conference offers chief executives, chairs and vice chairs, board members and directors the opportunity to explore these themes and more.

With pressure on supply chains, concerns about inflation, and real issues around poverty, housing associations face increasing strains on their finances.

Key questions persist: How will we fund the decarbonisation of our existing homes? How do we address the ongoing work needed to ensure building safety? And what implications do these challenges have for the finance professionals of the future?

This conference offers directors, managers, and officers the opportunity to explore these themes and more, including how both you and your business can build resilience. ‘Delivering and developing homes for diverse communities in challenging times’

We all know good housing is the bedrock of thriving communities and supports good outcomes for individuals, public services and our precious natural environment.

Our 2024 One Big conference will be taking place on 4th and 5th July and will provide a space for leaders and managers within the sector to reflect on how the services they provide and the new homes they deliver can best reflect the diverse makeup and needs of their communities.

The conference will explore innovative approaches to:

• Engaging tenants sensitively and effectively across a range of areas, from repairs to retrofit;

• Considering the diverse needs of communities in services provided to tenants, from neighbourhood engagement to asset management;

• Factoring in community need to the design, development and delivery of new homes; and

• Championing biodiversity and integration of the natural environment
