Today, too many people are still living in homes that are unaffordable, unsuitable or unsafe, and too many do not have a place to call home.
It doesn’t have to be this way.
We have the opportunity to do more than simply respond to the crisis. It’s time to make deliberate choices to shape a different future.
Housing associations are uniquely placed to shift the dial from housing emergency to housing recovery – building more homes, improving existing homes and creating healthier, fairer places for people and communities across the country.
They are not waiting for change - they are already delivering. But they cannot do it alone.
The 31 housing associations we represent need the know-how of organisations that share this vision to help them remain resilient and provide residents with good quality homes and essential support and wrap-around services.

CHC’s commercial partners also provide expertise in fields like insurance, pensions, treasury, development and maintenance and property management.
Be part of the housing recovery
To respond to the shifts in the political and economic landscape and support the sector as it works towards housing recovery, we are looking for new commercial partners to broaden the range of expertise available to our members.
The sectors we are focusing on for the next financial (2027/28) are:
🍃 Net Zero and retrofit: Innovative green tech, energy efficiency specialists, or decarbonisation advisors.
🛠️ Asset management and building safety: Specialists supporting damp/mould mitigation, tenant safety, or repairs logistics.
💻 Digital and data transformation: Smart housing systems, tenant communication tools, or data analytics.
⚖️ Governance and finance: Advisory firms, or funding partners aligned with Welsh sector values.
📢 Communications: Organisations that can support our members to clearly communicate their activity and their role in housing recovery to key stakeholders and the general public.
