Brian Pickett

Brian has been a senior leader in the Welsh housing association sector for over 10 years, having joined Rhondda Housing Association in 2015 as its IT and Finance Director.
From there, he moved to Cardiff Community Housing Association in 2019, firstly as its Deputy Chief Executive Officer, looking after finance and the wider support services and latterly taking up the Chief Executive position in 2023.
Brian has been part of the leadership team bringing the organisation out of regulatory intervention, leading to a much wider transformation.
Brian qualified as accountant in 1994, and has worked across both the private and public sectors, including the National Audit Office, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Standard Chartered Bank.
Brian grew up in Ebbw Vale but is now in Barry with his family.
