Policy & Practice : Looking into high-impact interventions to alleviate poverty

In this session, Rachael Walker, Director of Research and Policy at Policy & Practice, will discuss the research they are undertaking in Wales to identify the impact of different interventions, separately and in combination, on the incomes and costs of people in relatively low income in order to inform future strategies and actions by the Welsh Government, local authorities and other public bodies.

CHC and the Bevan Foundation, alongside other partners, have co-commissioned Policy & Practice to model various policy options in Wales and identify which interventions could make the greatest impact on alleviating poverty.
