Shah Farahi
Research and policy advisor
Shah Farahi is a Research and Policy Advisor at Community Housing Cymru. He leads policy research and evidence development to support housing associations across Wales, focusing on housing supply, affordability, homelessness pressures and long-term housing need. His work combines socio-economic policy analysis to strengthen the sector’s voice in national policy debates.
Shah contributes to CHC’s national research agenda, building the evidence base that informs policy, government engagement and public campaigns. He has a background in economics with experience in policy analysis. His interests lie in how economic systems, demographic changes and public finance shape social outcomes.
