Ruth Lanham-Wright is an experienced housing professional with over 25 years in the sector, including 23 years dedicated to North Wales Housing. For the past six years, she has served as Assistant Director of Homes, where she leads service delivery through a strong focus on data and performance.
Ruth's career has included key roles such as Interim Assistant Director of Finance, and Finance & Incomes Manager, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of both operational and financial aspects of housing services.
She holds a First-Class Honours degree in Applied Accounting and is currently completing her final paper to qualify as an ACCA Certified Chartered Accountant. Her professional development includes qualifications in leadership, coaching, and mentoring.
Before entering the housing sector, Ruth trained and worked as a chef, specialising in global vegetarian cuisine, a creative foundation that continues to influence her innovative approach to service transformation. Passionate about mentoring emerging leaders and driving continuous improvement. Ruth is also a keen crocheter and baker, regularly contributing her talents to charity fundraising efforts.
