Quarterly Report on CHC's Corporate Plan July – September 2016

Community Housing Cymru’s has published the second quarterly progress report on its 2016-19 corporate plan. As part of our commitment to members, we will be reporting on key achievements and milestones reached against quarterly priorities in the corporate plan.

July – September 2016 at a glance:

• Housing Pact - progress is well under way and we aim to launch the pact in November.
• Reclassification of housing associations by ONS – the sector was classified in September. We’ve worked hard to ensure a new appropriate approach to regulation with Welsh Government and to ensure you are kept up to date via a briefing for members and an FAQ document in conjunction with Devonshires.
• Value for Money guide launched in conjunction with HouseMark.
• Productive Welsh Language meeting held with the Welsh Language Unit in Welsh Government to discuss sector standards.
• Supporting People Wales programme protected in Welsh Draft Budget.
• Launch of CHC as an Agored Cymru training centre with four member partners signed up to date.
