CHC's latest statement on Grenfell Tower fire - 29th June

We are continuing to work closely with our members and the Welsh Government to ensure that we know the full picture regarding testing of cladding by Welsh housing associations.

Our members are assessing their properties and, where appropriate, are taking the opportunity to send samples for testing. No results have yet been received from any samples sent for testing from Welsh housing associations.

In addition to this, our members are working closely with local fire authorities to review current fire safety measures and to provide reassurance to tenants.

The safety of tenants is of paramount importance and continues to be our members’ top priority.

We will continue to monitor the situation and to work closely with our members and the Welsh Government.
