CHC responds to the Parliamentary Review of Health and Social Care in Wales

The Parliamentary Review of Health and Social Care in Wales has been published today.

Aaron Hill, Assistant Director of Policy and Public Affairs said:

“Housing associations will welcome today’s report. Its call for one seamless system of health and care across Wales recognises the role good housing has to play in the sector.

“In November, we established a sector vision to ensure that good housing is a basic right for all in Wales by 2036. Building healthy communities is a vital part of this, and a number of housing associations are looking at exciting innovations to combat both physical and mental health problems. To this end, housing associations are in a strong place to work with the NHS, social care providers and Welsh Government to build healthy communities and, ultimately, create a healthier Wales.”
