CHC announces launch of new podcast

At CHC we’re really pleased to launch our new podcast: ‘Around The Houses.’

The podcast addresses issues affecting social housing, and aims to show the sector is more than just bricks and mortar. Each episode sets out to unpick a matter impacting the social housing sector, and the communities within it.

In the first episode, presenters Will Atkinson and Catrin Harries speak with Darren McGarvey, a social commentator and author of Orwell prize winning Poverty Safari. The trio talk about welfare and poverty in the UK, and its impact on housing. Themes discussed include power dynamics in society, perceptions between social classes and the role of personal responsibility.
