A new member community for asset managers in Wales

We're launching a new joint member community for asset managers, in partnership with iON Consultants.

This initiative directly responds to your feedback, creating a dedicated space for discussing operational details, sharing insights, and collaborating on best practices within asset management.

What it offers:

  • Member community meet-ups: The community will meet twice a year, providing a consistent platform for engagement.

  • Comprehensive resources: Access a dedicated Housing Hub webpage for information and a WhatsApp group for real-time discussions.

  • Member-led agenda: Discussions will be shaped by your input, ensuring relevance to your daily work.

  • CHC policy expertise: This community will be joined up with CHC's wider policy work, ensuring your operational insights directly inform strategic housing decisions in Wales.

Led by experts

The community will be jointly led by CHC and Julian Ransom, a highly respected figure in asset management and compliance.

As a Director at iON Consultants and a long-standing member of the NHMF Management Team, Julian brings over 35 years of experience as a chartered building surveyor and more than 15 years specialising in asbestos compliance consultancy.

His extensive experience includes managing RSL technical teams, interim asset management roles, decent homes contract delivery, and regulator audit preparation.

Julian's involvement with the successful Housing Asset Management Maintenance And Repair (HAMMAR) / NHMF regional asset management & maintenance forums in England highlights his proven ability to foster collaborative communities.
