AI for Leaders: AI for Housing Associations

AI is moving fast and changing how we work. For housing associations, the question is no longer whether to engage with it, but how.
In this practical, hands-on session, ProMo Cymru will introduce you to the AI tools that are already changing how organisations work, and help you think about where they could make a real difference in yours.
Using real examples from the housing sector, we’ll cut through the noise and focus on what’s actually useful.
Through this module, we’ll cover:
- What AI is and the basics of how it works
- Entry-level AI tools, including ChatGPT and Otter.ai
- More advanced tools, such as NotebookLM, Claude and Firebase Studio
- Real-world examples of AI being used in the housing sector
- Looking ahead: how might AI shape your organisation’s future?
This session is designed for:
- Senior Leaders, Trustees and Board members who want to better understand the opportunities AI presents.
- Digital leads, comms leads, service managers or other housing association staff who, whether formally or informally, play a part in shaping digital direction.

We’re running a second module on how housing associations can adopt AI responsibly, in a way that supports staff, aligns with values, and strengthens their mission.
To ensure quality and engagement, each training cohort will be capped at 20 participants.
