Spotlight on TACP: Accelerating affordable housing and conversion opportunities
Free
Join us for a spotlight session on the Transitional Accommodation Capital Programme (TACP), a key Welsh Government initiative aimed at increasing the supply of high-quality accommodation at pace.
The TACP provides crucial grant funding for a variety of innovative projects including bringing existing, unused properties back into use, converting non-residential buildings, and embracing MMC to meet housing needs across Wales.
In this session Jonathan Jones, TACP Programme Lead, and Gareth Woodhead, Head of More Homes at Welsh Government, will discuss the success of the programme, share key insights on delivery thus far, and outline upcoming plans.
We will also be joined by Mike Reardon, Director at Loft Pro and specialist in residential construction and conversion. Mike will provide a practical perspective on the opportunities that exist within TACP, specifically focusing on how funding can be used to support the conversion and extension of existing properties to create much-needed homes.
The session will conclude with a Q&A with our speakers.
