Decarbonisation Spotlight Session: Skills | 26 March 2021
In this session, CITB discussed the implications that the UK Governments’ commitment to net zero by 2050 has for the built environment workforce. They shared recommendations to overcome the skills barriers. TUC and the Future Generations Commissioner for Wales outlined their work on a just transition in a green recovery and Welsh Government talked about the work they are doing to ensure that the right skills are in place for Wales to decarbonise at pace.
