CHC will be holding this 1 day Low Carbon Conference in July this year. Welsh Government will have released their Low Carbon Delivery Plan, a broad report covering all sectors, in March. In July, we are expecting the report focussing on the decarbonisation of existing housing stock.
The purpose of the conference is to discuss and explore the direction set by Welsh Government, give the sector opportunity to share best practice and to help housing associations progress their thinking and implementation – wherever in the process of decarbonisation they are currently. The conference will feature a Minister and a civil servant to explain the various reports, as well as workshops to look at how we can collectively take action and make the most of the benefits that decarbonisation brings.
As well as looking at technological opportunities available for both new build and retrofit schemes, there will also be opportunities to discuss health, wellbeing, fuel poverty, collaboration, the foundational economy and supply chains.
Places will be charged at £195 per person for our members and £255 per person for non members.
Book before Friday 31st May to take advantage of our £30 Early Bird discount.
