Optimising every opportunity

As communications professionals, it’s our job to make the most of every opportunity to promote our organisations and to enhance our reputations. It’s our job to get our messages out there to our stakeholders and beyond, and it’s our job to keep tenants informed. How can we make sure we do this to the best of our ability in a world which is saturated with promotional messages, and when our own messages can be complex and difficult to convey in a simple way? How can we use the ever-changing face of media to our advantage and make sure that we’re not left behind? And, while achieving all this, how can we remain resilient and ensure that we don’t forget how to say no?
Look no further than our Communications Conference. With sessions on marketing, social media, branding, crisis communications, communicating with politicians, media relations, media consumption, resilience, graphic design and much more, you need to make sure you definitely optimise this particular opportunity.
Just to give you a flavour of what to expect… Macmillan Cancer Support will open the conference with a session on how they’ve developed their hugely recognisable brand and engaging social media presence, and Visit Wales will close the conference by talking to delegates about the opportunities (and challenges!) of marketing Cardiff on a worldwide stage when the Champions League Final descended on Wales’ capital city in June.
With a mix of main sessions, a panel debate, an ‘over to you’ session and a range of masterclasses split into ‘beginners’ and ‘advanced’, there really is something for everyone! (We know it’s a cliché, but in this case it’s completely true.)
Bearing in mind that the conference takes place on Diwrnod Santes Dwynwen… we’d really love it if you joined us!
