Housing associations and community mutuals are key economic players in Wales, not only as landlords and developers, but in their wider role as investors in the regeneration of local communities.
In 2014/2015, housing associations and community mutuals spent £1.1bn in Wales; £532m of this (excluding staff costs) was spent directly on regeneration communities.

To encourage the sharing of information and good practice on community regeneration CHC and CREW Regeneration Wales support a Housing-led Regeneration Network which meets twice a year.
